A water-themed, 427-room hotel in the Minnesota-based Radisson chain (formerly a Radisson Blu), whose foyer is dominated by a 25-meter-high cylindrical aquarium (the AquaDom, with 1,500 exotic fish and millions of litres of water). Karl-Liebknecht-Straße is the extension of Unter den Linden, slightly to the east. Many of Berlin's key art museums (Pergamon, Alte Nationalgalerie, Altes Museum, Neues Museum) are just around the corner. An appropriate location for those who want to be where the action is, but not the gay-specific Schöneberg/Kreuzberg action. U-Bahn/S-Bahn: Alexanderplatz. S-Bahn: Hackescher Markt. NB: in December 2022 the AquaDom collapsed, resulting in dramatic damage. The hotel is closed until further notice.
