A standard two-star 21st-century 180-room hotel among hundreds in the Accor-owned Ibis chain (and one of 23 Ibis outlets in Berlin as of 2016). Rooms are designer-functional/clinical. Location is the strongest point here, with the very gay Fuggerstraße just a five-minute walk away, and the other gay pockets of leafy Schöneberg (including the somewhat cruisy Tiergarten) within effortless reach. Positioned north of the Kleistraße, pretty much equidistant from it and the Kurfürstendamm, where shopping rules. Immediately next door (at number 41) you'll find the hotel's one-star sibling — with a very simlilar name, but with 'budget' in the title. U-Bahn: Wittenbergplatz.
